Alaska Youth Risk Behavior Survey Coordinator

Would you like to be part of the team that administers an important survey of Alaska high school students’ health and risk behaviors? If you have program management skills and a firm grounding in surveillance data, this might be the perfect position for you.

The Youth Risk Behavior Survey, or YRBS, is used to monitor the prevalence of behaviors that put Alaska high school students at risk for significant health and social problems. School and public health partners across Alaska use these important data to plan, implement, and evaluate programs aimed at improving the health of Alaska teens.

Alaska’s Section of Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion is now recruiting for a Health Program Manager 2 to be the YRBS Coordinator. This position will work in close coordination with the YRBS Data Manager to plan and administer the Alaska YRBS. The position is located in Anchorage.
